Inclusive Cultures Blog – Land in the gap between the train and the platform

2024 Inclusive Cultures participant Tammy Tsang explores the idea of making space in leadership.

Changing the world starts with a regulated nervous system.

Trust that the time we allow for slower breaths are not at all insignificant

Safety first

Please mind the gap between the train and the platform

Re-wild the train tracks

Let’s not need to go anywhere for a moment

Take a breath to ground and to expand

Be in awe of the breath that makes space for imagination and possibility

To pause and see the forest ground grow, in all directions

To feel the expansiveness of time in our skin

To recognize our sensations, and articulate our feelings

We are painting a fuller picture of what we care about and what is possible

We are breathing

Being

Landing

Leading with a regulated nervous system

Our imagined landscape thrives

I want to be less certain about where we are heading, more

curious about where we can be.

Collectively decide that “being” and “caring” is plentiful

We deserve the care that we refuse to compromise

We are as expansive as we are imaginative
