Clore Leadership announces Autumn programme for cultural leaders in Tees Valley

Clore Leadership, the Tees Valley Mayor and Combined Authority are delighted to announce a series of new events as part of its ongoing programme of leadership development opportunities for the cultural sector in the Tees Valley for Autumn 2024.

The programme aims to reach as many creative and cultural professionals in the Tees Valley region as possible, from artists and freelancers, to aspiring leaders and established leaders working in cultural organisations.

Programme highlights open for booking this Autumn/Winter 2024 include:

Leadership Skills Days, September-November 2024

Following on from the success of the Tees Valley leadership skills days earlier this year, the next tranche of sessions will tackle key leadership topics including effective group working, wellbeing practice and persuasive communication skills for those difficult conversations.

These practical leadership skills days aim to develop essential leadership skills and build a robust toolkit which can be applied to different contexts. The content is grounded in group and experiential learning, and will reflect on different leadership styles and approaches, as well as attendees own working practices. The days will be led by a range of Clore Leadership contributors who all have their own experience and expertise to share. The skills days in 2024 will run from 10 – 4pm in venues across the Tees Valley

It was a really interesting day which had an energising effect on me… I found it thought-provoking and inspiring…gave me a sense of purpose about some questions that I have had for some time and helped me to come up with some next steps for further exploration.

It’s a hectic whirlwind time and I honestly thought I could have be doing more pressing things. BUT it was such a grounding and calming experience and to have time to focus on me, my story, my abilities and strengths was inspirational.
