Clore Leadership to receive funding from the Arts Council 2023-26 Investment Programme
It has today been announced that Clore Leadership will join the Arts Council Portfolio and receive funding as an Investment Principle Support Organisation.
This funding is aimed at organisations committed to embedding ACE’s core investment principles – including ambition, inclusivity and relevance – in their creative practice to mark a culture change.
We are extremely grateful for this support that will enable Clore Leadership to equip and inspire our sector to have a positive impact on society through great leadership of culture. Funding will support the development of our range of programmes that will act as a toolkit for leaders at all levels, servicing needs identified through our networks. It will provide opportunities for connectivity; to hear from high-quality contributors, and allow space for deep reflection and support. We will explore what leaders need as we count the cost of coping with the pandemic; dealing with an increasingly complicated world and confronting the fear of not acting, with an aim to support leaders to understand when and how to use their voice courageously.

In turbulent times, art and culture matter, creating space to imagine different futures, equipping us to make sense of the world and sometimes to escape from it. And those that lead our libraries, theatres, galleries, creative industries studios and arts centres matter too and need support to thrive under very real pressure. Clore Leadership commits to using all our resources to help them and our sector in the coming years.”
Following several years of extremely challenging and uncertain terrain, we know today’s funding announcements will be disappointing for many.
