Nicola Naismith’s AHRC research is concerned with the issues of affective support that artists working in health care settings are currently able to access. It is aptly entitled “Artists Practising Well”. The learning from this context and this piece of research will be influential both within and well beyond health care settings. The findings are vital to all aspects of art in public life, whether that is social or environmental in focus.
