Our Inclusive Leadership delivery for Arts Council England’s Transforming Leadership programme prioritises activities to address existing gaps in diversity in the leadership of culture.
Coaching Conversations ran in 2020 and was shaped as a space for D/deaf and disabled arts and culture professionals already accredited in coaching or action learning facilitation to explore the latest coaching approaches and methodologies.
The aim has been to upskill together, and ultimately widen the pool of coaching expertise available to Clore Leadership across our programmes and into the wider sector and beyond. The course has also explored the particular individual and collective relationships that exist between coaching and lived experience.
The programme looked at the interface between coaching and disability and the importance of this now and moving forward and featured a combination of coaching theory, practice and discussion during and in between sessions.
The programme was led by Clore Leadership Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Associate Sarah Pickthall in partnership with Clore Fellow Jamie Beddard and his company Diverse City.
