Through funding from Arts Council England, Clore Duffield Foundation and the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, we are able to offer subsidised course fees to eligible applicants.
Our subsidised fee bands, for 2023 are as follows:
Band A – 1-50 employees: £600 +VAT
Band B – 50+ employees: £800 +VAT
The unsubsidised cost of an Emerging Leaders course place is £2,300 + VAT. There may be a limited number of unsubsidised places on each course, although priority will be given to those who meet the criteria for a subsidised place. Additionally, we offer a number of bursaries which are detailed in the Bursaries section.
- Accommodation in your own private room for the residential modules at the course venue
- All meals and refreshments (three meals a day as well as regular tea & coffee and refreshment breaks)
- Travel to and from the venue
- Alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks with or after dinner
Confirmation of your place
Your place is not confirmed until you have received email acceptance from Clore Leadership. As soon as your place is confirmed and an invoice has been issued you/your organisation is liable for the applicable course fee. You/your organisation will be invoiced 2 months before the course start date.
Course Fee Payment
Fee payment must be received within 21 days from the presentation of the invoice. If payment is not received within 21 days we reserve the right to reallocate your place to another applicant. In the event that you are offered a place less than 21 days before the course start date, you must pay on receipt of invoice, and before the date of the course. Payment must be made in full prior to the course start. Payments should be made payable to Clore Leadership. Details on how to make payment by BACs can be found on the invoice.
Course cancellation
Clore Leadership reserves the right to cancel a course or change the venue without notice and reserves the right to cancel or change a session without notice.
By submitting your application you are making a commitment to be present at every session and it is your responsibility to ensure that you can attend. Clore Leadership cannot reschedule or offer refunds on any one particular module/session missed.
Applications to cancel a place must be received via email to courses@cloreleadership.org and must contain full contact details, invoice number and reason for cancellation. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
NB: These charges will only be waived in exceptional circumstance at the discretion of the Director. In such circumstances you must write to the Director giving full details on why you are/were unable to attend enclosing any supporting documentation e.g. a doctor's note.
We welcome applications to our courses from applicants based or working outside of the UK, but our unsubsidised course fee would apply and you should check your eligibility for any bursary you are applying for. Our course content is delivered in English and overseas course participants would be responsible for making their own travel arrangements and securing the visas neccessary to attend the course.
