Rosemary Squire OBE is co-founder and Joint CEO of the Ambassador Theatre Group Ltd (ATG) and is the most prominent woman in British theatre of the modern era.
ATG is the world’s number one live-theatre company with 39 venues in Britain and on Broadway and is one of the world’s most prolific theatre producers. Rosemary is responsible for the company’s core business development team, including its international expansion.
In 2014, Rosemary made history as the first woman to be named EY Entrepreneur of the Year, the world’s most prestigious business award, and in 2015 she represented the UK at the World Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in Monaco.
She is a National Member of the Arts Council England Board, a Trustee of The Hall for Cornwall and was chair of Great Ormond Street’s Theatres for Theatres Appeal raising over £5m. When democratically elected President of Society of London Theatre, she became the second only female President in the organisation’s history. She won the prestigious CBI Real Business First Women Award for Tourism & Leisure and was awarded an OBE for Services to Theatre. Rosemary and her husband/business partner, Sir Howard Panter, have topped The Stage 100 for six consecutive record-breaking years, were number one on the Evening Standard ‘Power 1000’ Theatre section and Rosemary ranked at number 16 on the BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour Power 100 List.
