What drives you as a leader? Tell us about what matters to you the most and what you want to accomplish as a cultural leader.  Your answer should be in the form of a short video which should be no more than 120 seconds in length. 

We are not assessing your film production skills so keep it simple by talking clearly to the camera. There’s no need for any special effects. Please make sure that your video is clearly audible and upload it to YouTube or Vimeo; then paste the link below.

Please note: 

• Videos can take a long time to upload, so please start this upload process with enough time before the application deadline. 
• If you are uploading a video to YouTube, please note that the privacy setting of the video should be 'Public' or 'Unlisted'. If it is set to 'Private', then assessors will not be able to watch your video, and your application may be disadvantaged. 
• If you are uploading a video to Vimeo and are including a password, please make sure to include that password in the field below.
• Please make sure that you check the video and link before submitting your application.  You will not be able to make any changes once your application has been submitted.

Comments & Scored Assessment. 

The essay questions form most of the meat of the application and are where we expect applicants to make a compelling case for themselves.

Q1 We expect applicants to be (or seek to become) innovative change makers. Why do you want to lead and what difference will you make to culture and society in doing so? (250 words max)* 

Guidance: In Q1 you should focus on the candidate’s understanding of leadership, do they think about culture as part of a wider social, political and economic context? Do they come up with solutions?

IMPORTANT - the applicant you are nominating will not be able to submit their application until you have competed and submitted this nomination form. PLEASE do so before the deadline of 23 February 2023.

We are looking for leaders who have ambition and vision and can clearly show how they might take their leadership to the next level.
