Join us for the first of our Spring 2019 Leadership Development days: The Future of Works. These days challenge us to re-examine flexibility in the way we work and respond to change.
The Future of Work opens the debate by exploring potential new approaches to work in the cultural sector in response to factors such as technology and longer working lives.
Hear from speakers who have embraced new working practices such as flexible working in their organisations and portfolio careers. We will end the day with a spotlight on how leaders can respond to a complex and changing world with keynote speaker Dr Sharon Varney, Director of the Henley Forum.
Is it for me?
The Future of Work is for leaders who want to think differently about future-proofing their work and organisations. Relevant for leaders who work freelance or in an organisation of any size. This session is open to 60 leaders and is presented in a conference format designed to pose questions, add context and share best practice.
This Leadership Development Day is supported by Arts Council England, through a three-year grant to develop sector leaders. The course fee is £120 for applicants working in England. There may be a limited number of unsubsidised places on each course for applicants outside England, although priority will be given to those who meet the criteria for a subsidised place. An unsubsidised place costs £400 + VAT.
This Leadership Development day is designed to be complemented by Future Capable, but it is also a standalone event.
