About Brilliant Routes:

Clore Leadership is pleased to be working with Clore Fellow Gaylene Gould to curate Brilliant Routes, a strand of programming focused on supporting Black Asian and Ethnically Diverse leaders and addressing issues of progression and retention.

Brilliant Routes will pilot and test different ways to combat the issue of Black Asian and Ethnically Diverse leadership progression using a variety of formats to address issues of influence, kinship building, thought-leadership, self-compassion and career expansion.

You can register for our monthly sessions taking place between January-March 2021 here

These sessions are for Black, Asian and ethnically diverse leaders.

About the sessions:

A few months back we looked at the power of kinships to sustain our strategic, mental and soulful wellbeing. Today the power of the network has revealed itself to be critical in the cultural lives of Black Asian, and ethnically diverse leaders. But how to create and sustain a good kinship network? And what coaching tools can help turn a good moan session into a generative space of learning and growth?

These Kinship Circle workshops will do two things: first you will have the chance to meet and get to know your peers across the breadth of the cultural sector. Second, you will be taught and be able to practice co-coaching methods in small listening circles. You can continue to use these methods to strengthen your current support circle or, if you are without one, you might discover one here.

There are four circles available.

  • Kinship 1: Creative Founders and artists, 11 March 11am-1pm: Founders of independent creative companies and artists
  • Kinship 2: Mid-career leaders, 12 March 11am-1pm: Managers or people with 5+ years' experience
  • Kinship 3: Senior Leaders, 18 March 11am-1pm: Managers leading teams of under 15
  • Kinship 4: CEO’s and Artistic Directors, 19 March 11am-1pm: Leaders of organisations or leading teams of over 15 people

You have the option to choose one Kinship Circle. If you are unsure which one you would like to choose, please email courses@cloreleadership.org.
