Thomas Freshwater

Tom is Head of Public Programmes at the National Trust. He works strategically across the organisation developing and commissioning programmes of cultural activity including contemporary arts, exhibitions, research, historic site presentation, publications and digital content. Tom was previously Contemporary Arts Programme Manager, National Trust and Arts Project Officer at Wycombe District Council where he managed a portfolio of arts projects and partnerships. He has worked for a number of museums and galleries sites, and as a freelance contemporary arts curator. Tom lives in Oxfordshire. He is interested in developing framing for experience making with interactive play, empathy, and nudge theory as inspirations.
