Charlie Morrison
I'm Executive Director of Walk the Plank, an internationally renowned organisation based in Salford. We create and produce outstanding moments of outdoor performance and public celebration, working at scale - in projects such as Green Space Dark Skies and Pafos ECOC Opening Ceremony and in depth with communities, leading on learning and development of emerging creative talent.
The fellowship completely altered my perception and understanding about what was possible and what I could do. It was a green light to be bold, try ideas, trust my thoughts and think big. I'm still in touch with many of the fantastic people from my fellowship in 2012, a network that still supports, helps and listens.
I try to support others, contribute through boards, offer mentoring, and in my own organisations I try to positively influence things that I believe are important - stability, sustainability, people.
