As part of the new programme of leadership development for the arts and culture sector in the Tees Valley, this is the first event of a series of facilitated conversations where leaders will share their stories and experiences.
Please note this series is for people living or working in the cultural sector in the Tees Valley.
Our speaker: Kirsten Luckins is a poet, performer, and producer based in Hartlepool. She is the founding director of the Tees Women Poets, an ACE-funded organisation which supports women to create and perform work about the issues that affect them and the values they live by. She is also project manager for the Rebecca Swift Foundation, where she runs the Women Poets' Prize and develops online programming and membership support for the UK-wide Women Poets' Network. Her 2021 collection Passerine was published by Bad Betty Press and longlisted for the Laurel Prize for Eco-Poetry.
