Kim Evans OBE
Kim Evans has extensive experience as a creative practitioner and leader in the cultural sector. She began her career as a documentary filmmaker on The South Bank Show, and then at the BBC where she won a BAFTA for her film Angela Carter's Curious Room. She went on to become Head of Music & Arts at the BBC and then Executive Director of Arts at Arts Council England. She is currently a Trustee of the National Portrait Gallery and Chair of Clean Break, the women's theatre company that works with leading playwrights and women in prison or at risk of offending. She also works with a wide range of individuals and cultural organisations as a mentor and advisor. In 2007 she was awarded an OBE for her services to the arts.
