Freelance (Director Happy Museum)

Hilary Jennings is a freelance consultant working across the creative & cultural sector in project management, facilitation, coaching and mentoring. She is part-time Director of the Happy Museum Project which re-imagines the role of museums focusing on the wellbeing of people, place and planet.

She has worked as an Associate of the Clore Leadership and Cultural Leadership Programmes and is facilitator of the Extend Leadership Programme. She worked extensively with the craft sector and was manager of the inaugural Craft Skills Award as well as Chair of the UK Craft Industry Board and Director for Craft at Creative and Cultural Skills. An experienced facilitator she has led strategy sessions for a range of organisations including the Museums Association, VocalEyes, Edinburgh Museums, The Heritage Craft Association and The Audience Agency. She is Co-Chair of the international Transition Network and a steering group member of the Co-Creating Change network.
