Specialist Fellowships

General Fellowships

Most of our Fellowships apply across a wide range of cultural activity, and we welcome general applications with any cultural purpose in mind. For 2008/9 these Fellowships have been generously funded by Arts Council England/Cultural Leadership Programme. 

Specialist Fellowships

In addition, we also offer some Fellowships focused on particular specialisms or geographical areas.

**STOP PRESS** We are now offering a FILM FELLOWSHIP for someone engaged in any aspect of the world of film making, policy or distribution. We are particularly keen to encourage applications from candidates with backgrounds which are currently under-represented in the film sector. NB. FOR THIS FELLOWSHIP ONLY APPLICATIONS WILL CLOSE ON MONDAY 17 MARCH 2008.

For 2008/9 we are also offering: 

ARCHIVES FELLOWSHIP for a candidate from the Archives profession

 

ARTS AND CREATIVE ECONOMY FELLOWSHIP exploring (amongst other things) the links between arts and culture, and innovation and creativity in the broader economy

 

CULTURAL POLICY FELLOWSHIP for someone with an interest in cultural policy development

 

DANCE FELLOWSHIP for a dancer who has performed for a total of at least 8 years, 5 of which have been with one of the dance companies associated with Dancers’ Career Development (Adzido (employed by the company up until 11/2004), Siobhan Davies Dance Company (from 2005), Birmingham Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, Northern Ballet Theatre, Phoenix Dance Company, Rambert Dance Company, Richard Alston Dance Company, the Royal Ballet and Scottish Ballet)

 

DCMS FELLOWSHIP for someone working in government

 

ENTREPRENEURIAL CULTURAL ORGANISATIONS FELLOWSHIP exploring (amongst other things) the role entrepreneurialism can play in cultural organisations

 

JEROME HYNES FELLOWSHIP for a candidate from the Republic of Ireland

 

LEARNING FELLOWSHIP for someone working in education in cultural organisations or at a senior level within formal education

 

LIBRARIES FELLOWSHIP for a candidate from the Libraries profession

 

MUSEUMS FELLOWSHIP for a candidate from the Museums sector

 

ENGLAND’S NORTHWEST FELLOWSHIP for someone who wishes to develop their career as a cultural leader in the North West of England

 

FELLOWSHIP IN THEATRE for someone who plans to develop their career in theatre

 

ARTS COUNCIL OF WALES FELLOWSHIP for a candidate from Wales who intends to develop their career as a cultural leader in Wales

 

WELLCOME TRUST FELLOWSHIP for an individual who wants to play a leadership role in developing links between the arts and biomedical science within a wider cultural context. The Fellowship will include a period of research in a scientific environment and an opportunity to explore contemporary research practice across the arts and science divide

Applying for one of these named Fellowships will not affect your chances of being considered for a general Fellowship within the Clore Leadership Programme. As well as filling in the main application form, you will need to fill in the extra section which is relevant to Specialist Fellowships.
