The Clore
Leadership Programme will be offering a Dance Fellowship, starting in
September 2005, to a dancer who has the potential to move into a
significant leadership role within the arts. The Dance Fellowship is
generously supported by Dancers' Career Development and The Linbury
Trust.
The Dance
Fellow will have an individually tailored programme, lasting a year or
longer, which will include two intensive residential leadership
courses; professional development through mentoring, tuition and group
learning; time for reflection, research and debate; and a period of
secondment, including experience of managing a high level project.
The Clore
Leadership Programme, established in 2003 by the Clore Duffield
Foundation as a new initiative to strengthen leadership across the
arts, will be offering about twenty-five Fellowships in 2005/6, across
a wide range of areas of cultural activity.
Applications
for the Dance Fellowship are invited from dancers from one of the
major dance companies associated with Dancers' Career Development.
The closing date is 25 February 2005
and the choice of Dance Fellow will be announced
in June.
