Rachel Grunwald

SPID Theatre Company, Director

Director, SPID Theatre Company.  Based on a west London housing estate, SPID combines a professional theatre company, a youth theatre and community outreach programmes. Rachel was previously at the Tricycle Theatre and was Artistic Director of ‘Act for Darfur’ festival, where she remains as Chair, and Assistant Director of 'The Great Game: Afghanistan’; also Tutor, MA Text in Performance, RADA.  Rachel has an extensive background as a Theatre Director, working with organisations such as Royal Shakespeare Company, Soho Theatre and the ICA.
