Llorenc Pastor

Intern

LlorencLlorenç joined the Clore Leadership Programme's team in April 2010 as an intern.  At the moment he is undertaking an MA in Cultural and Creative Industries at King's College London.  Before moving to the UK in 2009, Llorenç completed his Licenciatura (BA) in Politics at the Complutense University of Madrid and then continued his studies on political theory and contemporary thought at Barcelona University.  He redirected his career to arts' management and has interned at the Instituto Cervantes in London as the Cultural Officer's assistant.

Llorenç is very interested in the role of the cultural facilitator, working as a bridge between cultural producers and consumers and fostering a fruitful dialogue within the cultural industries as a whole.  His research has been focused, so far, on the impact of globalization on national cultures, the public/private dichotomy within the cultural sector and the role of the creative city.  Currently he is combining his work at the Clore Leadership Programme with research on independent literary publishing in the United Kingdom as part of his dissertation.
