One option
is for you to undertake the Fellowship full-time. You may
choose to do this if, for example, you are self-employed or taking a
career break. If you follow this option, you will normally be
eligible for a scholarship of £20,000.
A second option is for
you to stay in employment during the Fellowship. If you
are planning to do so, you will need to provide evidence of support
from your employer when you submit your application. If you are
offered a Fellowship, we will discuss with your employer the level of
compensation we will pay to them for the periods while you are away
during the year.
In addition, for all funded Fellows, we will pay the
direct costs associated with the programme, including tuition fees
and accommodation for residential courses.
Self-funded Fellowships.
Some organisations may want to consider sponsoring
all or part of the Fellowship, and we will welcome self-funded
applications as well as the main programme of Fellowships that are
already funded.
Whatever the financial
arrangements, we will consider your application on merit, not on
your ability to pay.
